ELFONÍA: Taking A Break

December 22, 2006

ELFONÍA, the Mexican band featuring STREAM OF PASSION vocalist Marcela Bovio, has issued the following update:

"In the past five years working with ELFONÍA we've been through a lot: amazing experiences, fun moments, lots of challenges, hard times. This band saw us all grow as musicians and performers, something we're very proud of. It has been an honor and a pleasure to count with the support of all our fans and loved ones; we'll be forever thankful to you all!

"Some of you must have guessed it by now, but the band is from a while now taking an indefinite break... We still haven't decided if this break will be final or not, but so far we have no plans to continue writing songs or perform live. Each of us is focusing on different projects, going different places.

"Once again, thank you all for your unconditional support! We hope the future brings the best for everyone."

STREAM OF PASSION's debut album, "Embrace the Storm", was released in Holland in October 2005 via Sony/BMG Benelux. The CD was issued in the rest of Europe and the U.S./Canada via InsideOut Music.
